Most Conservative/Trump states are in the south, and I swear that's where country/folk/American is POPPING. It's an inevitability she's gaining Trump supporting fans because of the new music, not any sort of message. Not everyone who lives in the south enjoys country/folk/bluegrass/filk/blues/soul/sh!t, nor are all of us Republicans. Or independents willing to put the world at risk for that giant orange hot air balloon. Plus many people can separate their beliefs from their fav music. Sure they may not enjoy BTW, but they may enjoy the rest of Gaga's discography. Also the just because the album has country influences, does not mean it is pure country. You are so full of generalizations and stereotypes it is not even funny.
ryhanna 3,507
But the album isn't even Country? It's very much a straight up pop album. You're talking like she's making an album that's entirely comprised of banjo music and uses the confederate flag as the album cover
Nicole 1,809
Yes Gaga shouldn't encourage discussion on politics and she shouldn't express her well-founded anger that someone like Trump is even in the running in the first place....just so she can be in the white supremacists good books and get more $$ from their purchases... Top notch priorities...

Clinton: "I'm with her Stronger together" Who is really the lesser of two evils? Who has the most to lose? When the Bush's start supporting Hillary and even the RNC is against Trump you know something is up. Hillary is exactly what America does not want; another politician. >Be a Democrat your whole life, the minute you run as a Republican you are a misogynistic, racist, xenophobic, homophobic rapist. He's called a misogynistic because he said he can grab women's pussies, he's called racist he called illegal immigrants "rapists and murderers", he's called xenophobic because he called for a ban on Muslims, he's call homophobic because he's okay with states discriminating against gay people. It's not just because he's a republican, it's because he's done these these things. the RNC is against him because he's killing the republicans chances at majorities in congress. The bushes are against him because he ****ed over Jen Bush and they're still pressed. As far as who has the most to lose, they'll both be rich if they lose. No one really has anything to lose except a harmed ego.
mmm 879
Why would anyone not listen to someone music because they dont support a politician? I think her supporting Hilary will hurt her more as most of people who listen to her are liberals that support bernie and everyone was shocked that she would support hilary. It would be racist if he said all Mexicans are criminals but he didn't even come close to saying that. Hillary's said racist stuff, she's married to an alleged sex offender, she was opposed to gay marriage too until it fit her agenda to switch, she committed criminal negligence and walked free because she's too powerful while people are going to prison for stupid **** every day like weed possession. There's lots of **** you can say about both candidates, let's not act like the Republican candidates don't always get the short end of the stick because the establishment and media are inherently liberal. Most people don't know anything about policy and just vote for who they get told to.

Many of them and their friends go to Stagecoach festival (like the country's biggest country music festival here in California), so they're pretty diehard. Maybe it's because I live in the progressive bubble of LA and California. If people let politics shape their musical interest then that's pretty sad. I don't think it plays as much as a role as you think. Beyoncé is very political and yet look how much she sells...that's not all from the left. It's probably California. I live in Southern California and it's probably easier to come out as transgender here than to come out as a Trump supporter. LOL

You think black lives matter is ridiculous, and you don't believe in white privilege... so at the end of the day you're no better than the people who discriminated against us most of our lives

Plus, the email scandal with a huge security breech that she got away easily. How much could you trust this person as a President? I'm not even mentioning her caliber yet. We have no concrete proofs that Trump will implement his "racist policies", even if he does has that intention in mind. Proven from history, take speeches, promises with a grain of salt. Ahri Under You 410
I saw Gaga drag some politician lady on twitter the other day and just felt like that wasn't Gaga at all. I always felt like Gaga still wanted us all to love each other - even if we had different views and beliefs. I felt like she was being a bit of a bully to that lady. Granted I don't know the back story. But she knows her fans can go witch hunting (esp the twitterr ones) so why start a bully war?
