Why? It's just a way to protest and bring attention to marriage equality :smh: At the very least it's a nice gesture.

Betting on this is silly and Marriage is not a joke, this is your life, who knows for how long they're gonna wait; plus the Australian government doesn't give a flying **** whether they get married or not, really. If you wanna make change show it through your words and actions, spread the message, enlighten people...

What they're doing is so childish, reminds me of myself as a child when I would go on hunger strike or lock myself somewhere until I get what I want (which usually fails :emma:) so I just go for them acknowledging I'm upset.

HUGE difference. It's one thing to refuse something to pressure others into doing something for your personal gain, or to do so with no personal benefit whatsoever but only to show solidarity with others.

Who is betting?

Yeah marriage is not a joke, but I think that's exactly why they are protesting the fact that gay Australian's can't marry. Of course the Australian government doesn't give a **** about Kylie and Josh, but Kylie is our Pop queen. It does add to public pressure, it does add to conversation in the media.

"you wanna make change show it through your words and actions, spread the message, enlighten people." Is that not what they are doing? They are showing their support for gay marriage through their words and actions.

You could compare any form of protest to a child throwing a tantrum really. I think it's nice that Kylie and Josh have decided to show some solidarity with the gay community.
