I love Gaga for doing something different even when it was about releasing a product that she later said she just did because they told her to. It's like one of those students that no matter what crappy topic you get as a project, you make the best of it, and I love her for using Schieße on it, it fit the theme. That's why I didn't really push so much to buy it, because if her heart really isn't in something then it's clearly for the sake of her feeling tired of being a money making machine. Especially in that interview, it looked like she just wanted to get out of there and put an end to the whole thing. Of course, I'm watching it now with hindsight bias, but she did not look pleased. Still, she really tried to make the profect mesh well with her other art-forms, and somehow, she convinced me back then that making a fragrance was just the most logical thing for her to do. I loved the promotion of it. Looking back, it makes me wonder how many compromises she had to make earlier in her career, and I hope she never has to sell herself like that again.
