It's just a generic sound imo, that many associate with Madonna for her big hits that she had. She's also no stranger to being wildly influenced by other artists. Fashion!, Just Dance and Bowies Lets Dance are more than just a good example. If you listen to collections of hits from various decades they sort of all have their own patterns that change throughout the decade, like a dominating theme.
