Hey not that fast yet! We still have like 7 songs to go. Diamond heart sounds like a bop tbh:firega:

I agree with this. It really does sound promising. And this is the advice I give to everyone - let's all give the album a try. I'm still excited for it.

I preferred GGD when it wasn't as self righteous. These cringey threads are just embarrassing. I see so many of these threads daily 'Leave if you don't like it' and rarely see any negativity towards the songs.

Most have been here for years and will not and should not leave just because they dislike a song or two. I think it's time that you/fans act their age.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

I never said that good music is ANYTHING BUT bops. I'm saying that there's good music out there that doesn't have to make you dance, hair flip, etc. Which is what most everyone who doesn't like MR is saying.

I like a good bop. I constantly jam to EMOTION and other sugary pop albums... But that's not the only type of music that's out there and it doesn't have to be.

"I swear these kids don't understand that good music doesn't have to make you bop"

Maybe THEIR preference in music does have to make them bop.

Do you see what I'm saying here? Their idea of what good music is and your idea of what good music is not the rule of thumb for what good music is. It's subjective. People can have opinions and strong ones at that. People can be passionate about those opinions.

I know and I'm praying every god that Ayo and SP are the only "bad ones". Cause like I said I really want to like Joanne.

It was a perfect delusion indeed.

Thanks for that. But it is essentially fact that country is one of the most hated genres - just look up most hated genres list. You'll find country on pretty much every one, and if it isn't #1, it's usually in the top three.

She was one of the world's biggest pop stars. Fact.

It was on abrupt notice. Fact.

She didn't do it spectacularly. Opinion. This is partly why people don't like it.

It's a highly polarizing sound. Fact/opinion. Country can be respected and hated at a really high rate.

Mark wasn't needed to make the country sound. Fact.

I wouldn't be as upset if the hive mind didn't assault every "negative" opinion

I need to look up "fact" in the dictionary, because I think you meant to use the word "drunk."

:oprah:

It's fine to have opinions on music... If you like dance tracks, that's great. But that's not the only thing out there.

If someone feels REALLY passionate about bops... Good for them :golfclap:

But life is better experienced when trying things you don't usually like.

What I'm trying to say is that so many of the users on here are saying this song is bad and the album is bad because it's not full of bops... It doesnt have to be :nails:

Oh my God.

Well I think it's time for some Monsters to start sucking it up and getting used to the fact this is a public forum, where people will voice their opinions no matter how many bash threads ya'll make about them.

Yes it sucks that not all of us like the song, but in the same way you all love saying how much you love the song, there are going to be people who don't, and you can't blame them for making threads about their dislike for a song while you make your thread about your liking for it.

It's two sides of the same coin, you can't just have threads about how amazing the song is, that lead to this cult site just becoming more so, but you also can't have just hate threads or this place will be ATRL.

This elitist way of thinking that some people need to leave the fanbase purely because they have different tastes is tired.

As if you were all the authority on what a "True Stan" is. Lol.

And if I get dragged for saying this, so be it, but to go and make a thread about your opinion and then denounce someone else for theirs when they make a thread disagreeing with you is wrong no matter how you try to spin it.

That being said I hope ya'll go on to make tons of threads about your love for the song, but stop making threads like these about the people who don't share your opinion.

I think they are referring to the ones who keep constantly repeating their dislike for her recent music. I personally don't care. I love it and that's all that matters. It's just stupid on both sides to repeat "opinions". If you like the music say it once and move on... if you don't, say it and move on. It just gets in  the way of the music.

Being rude and having a critical opinion is indeed different. You don't inherently need musical knowledge to like or dislike a song. "This is not natural" and "This is not her" are not rude comments - they're critical opinions. None of us know if this is authentic, regardless of what she says. She says contradictory **** about EVERY record that ends up being completely untrue years later. She could be the most depressed she's ever been - no promo, more fillers than ever, re-producing a full album - these are things we won't know why until months later if she has another depressive meltdown. They're allowed to have these opinions, and they aren't butthurt. You just don't like OPPOSING opinions. You're the butthurt one. You're not being peaceful. You're being inflammatory under the guise of "politely" telling people to leave because they understandably don't like something.

If being a bitch isn't the same as having an opinion then you sure aren't making that disctinction well when you're unnecessarily criticizing comments that aren't even rude.

You're not respectful.

What about the obnoxious ones saying that those who don't like this music "don't understand it" or "don't understand where the music came from and are just too juvenile to comprehend it"? That's just a way of feeling superior for liking the sudden change. It's like having the rug pulled out from everyone, and then each of the people who are still left standing talks about how great their dexterity is.

Pull that rug out one more time in a different direction and you'll see how many of these "change lovers" fall. I really feel that some people only support the idea of a change in musical direction if they like it. If this was acapella screamo mixed with yodeling, I highly doubt most of you would be into it.

Well I'm definitely not lying

i have a gigantic music library with thousands of songs from different genres and I'm always down for new things.

One thing I love about gaga is her flexibility, and I can promise you her newest songs are seriously not bad. Ayo is a bop if you get used to it

And I believe in the Change Lovers,  i believe most of them do love the new sounds, we will see how what will happen if the album comes out ok?

Peace

I'm throwing shade because I love her so much. I remember skipping school and wait for "hair" to come out. Frankly, ever since BTW, it's really not about the music anymore. Maybe just like what people are saying, that she peaked during TFM. But I stick around because she's interesting. I'd like to see how far can this girl go. She can dance, she can sing, she's talented. But I really don't know what to think anymore. Consider all of her major albums are pop album, and now this. It's just sad. I'm totally fine if it's a side project, but this a major album and it re-defines who lady gaga is, and it's just not fine with me. The songs aren't bad at all, and are actually pretty good. But let's face it, it's no lady gaga. If this is what she is going for, then she should have seen it coming.  Im secretly hoping the rests of the album are good. Just give me one reason to stay.
