So the same people as always complaining... nothing new on this thread.

But this song is so beautiful, damn. I agree that A-YO is better, for example. But while listening to this I felt something special inside. I am loving the bridge and the fact that her voice is the most important thing. Lyrics are really great too, and it sounds less repetitive than PI, tbh.

Loving this era :flutter: The fact that I am fan of someone who is constantly offering me something new, different, and it is not the same producer with the same trendy hits... I would be bored if she always did the same. This is so exciting!!

I do wish there was more to the production. I love the strings that come in but I wish they were more present. But after a few listens it has grown on me. I think it's all about building to the bridge.

The one positive thing about this song (for me) is that it made me return to P.I. and now I kind of appreciate it more. :saladga:

The line about "this worn-out leather" instantly reminds me of Born This Way LeatherGa. Giving me so many feels

Anyone else getting that feeling from the line?

lmao at everyone all of a sudden bitching about religious lyrics. where were you all during "Judas," "electric chapel," "black jesus amen fasion," etc....i.e. you dont like the song b/c it's not a bop, not b/c the lyrics.

It's a pretty, refreshing song. Melodically, it's not strong at all. Lyrically, it's quite sophisticated. It's refreshing to see her voice FINALLY be a song's main asset. I love the song, and am here for this record.

..... COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS HERE WE COME.

i disagree.

"i bow down and pray" is a really strong melody.

I have a hole in my chest since I heard it. I don't think a song has ever affected me physically like that. If we look inside us deep enough we would find an experience that makes the song even more relatable and that's when the waterworks start.
