Obvious observation: no deluxe cover

Joanne will become a very iconic album. In the future, when ppl think abt 'Joanne' they will have the album cover pictured in their minds. That's why I think just one cover is enough, one iconic cover to sum up one iconic album.

I'm more than happy with one cover. It's just perfect for the personal meaning of this album: it's just the NYC Italian-American girl she is, without fame.

I love this. Imagine if she released more than one cover for the Deluxe version, would be like collectibles for fans.

I like the idea of a single cover. Gives a single image to the album. It always slightly annoyed me that TFM & BTW had 2 covers. I think having one cover gives it a greater chance of becoming iconic like The Fame, which is arguably her most iconic and well-recognized cover.

The cover is so bland and I can't believe some people think it's iconic.

It was the Joanne cover that made me realize Gaga has never really delivered a flawless album cover other than TFM.

Doesn't bother me at all, I just want the extra tracks after all.

If there's different cover, is good but now it doesn't then it's alright.

Besides, whats the use for different cover when the booklet itself just the same?

Unless for like ARTPOP Japanese edition where the design are slightly different inside.

 

Personally, now that I know it will be the same cover, I can ditch the standard edition from my purchase list.

So I can have some extra left hopefully for getting merch from her tour to support this album.

 

Outside the collectors community, who bought all versions, the standard edition were meant to be for people with tight budget cos it's sold cheaper.

And with the same cover as deluxe, the costumers who purchase the standard edition at least doesn't feel to bad for getting it.

I'm a bit disappointed, yeah. To me without a different cover then there's no point in getting the standard. Maybe even a small change like it saying deluxe somewhere would've make me happy, but if it's like a removable sticker than . 

Still happy though, it's a good thing I like the original one and wasn't hoping for a "better" cover for the deluxe.
