She would then answer the phone and say stuff like "Hi Honey B. - oh, you're right, we never performed our hit single Telephone together. Oh, you want to perform it? Great idea. I hate the song now though. So no. Bye". And then she continues the show as if the hopes and dreams of millions of people hadn't been just shattered.
