synched 734 Posted September 27, 2016 Share Posted September 27, 2016 Hey guys So i was watching the Make Me VMA performance and then I did something i usually don't do and went on to read the comments because i liked the performance and wanted to see what the people's reaction was. After reading a comment suggesting that she was supposed to sing live, I did a quick google search and stumbled upon this topic in a forum: http://fotpforums.com/topic/136044-britneys-mic-was-supposed-to-be-on-during-vma-performance/ Apparently Britney was supposed to perform and sing live (that means "not lip syncing") and she did so at the rehearsals but when the actual performance was happening, they "forgot" to turn her sound on. Now i'm not talking about the Make Me part here because obviously she was not going to be able to deliver that auto-tuned "oooh ooohs" in the chorus but she switches to a handheld mic when she starts singing Me, Myself and I. Why would she change microphones if she was just gonna keep lip syncing? And some people say that she was pointing to her mic when she was singing and she kinda looks confused but idk lol Now, I don't believe this rumor completely but it might be true idk. It just seemed interesting to me. What do you guys think? PS. I have discovered this new indie artist but she is not well known yet but if you have time def. go check her music out.
