 I think its a metaphor for when she got dropped from her label. Gummy bears representing the music career and the knife meaning the act of her getting dropped.

I think it's an abortion reference. Some clinics call the abortion pill a  "gummy bear"  as a code word. It's cheaper than a full out surgical abortion so girls often take the pill so they can hide it from their parents. If the pill doesn't expel everything, they have to go in and get the remaining tissue scraped/suctioned out. I think gaga is saying that the other girls were lucky because they got to have both. She just had the full surgical abortion, which is the most traumatizing option. She wishes she would've just been able to take the "gummy bear". When she looks at the doctor and says "I'm gonna be a star", it was like that was her way of justifying it

No one was rude, this is a text, you don't know how I expressed it. I said we already know how hard it was for her at some times, not that everyone knew she cut herself. When she's at a mental hospital on the video, it's obvious that she couldve had something like depression or whatever and when you're at a place like that is because you could be a threat to yourself or others. When she says "i'm gonna make it because i have nothing left to loose" it makes it clear. Do i need to put fake emoticons here to not sound rude? Ok then

She means that nobody protected her like they did with the other girl. She had to go through some really traumatizing situations and she had to go through it alone.

The other girl even wanted to grow up and essentially lose her innocence (like the idea of teenagers rebelling against their parents) but there were people around her who were there for her and protected her.

Gaga didn't even want to lose her innocence in the first place, like the way the other girl did. She was naive and wanted to become a star without dealing with the dark side of the music industry. Yet, she had to do some things that she knows were messed up in order for her to break in to the music world (getting an abortion, ect)
