Those who voted against Bernie Sanders in the Democratic Primary are responsible for electing Donald Trump.

There's always a first time being wrong :poot:

Well, Western Illinois University hasn't been wrong since 1974 and they're predicting a Hillary win. The University Of Virginia has never been wrong either and not only do they call a Clinton win, they say she'll win in a landslide :firega:

I wouldn't worry :laughga: as long as the sane people are out voting on election day she'll be our next president.

I know some university did :poot:

But that would've made sense to have Bernie win. This is American politics, you have to leave your brain by the door :madge:

"Still, Trump is such an unusual candidate that he might break the American political mold that has held for decades.

"We've never before seen a candidate who's spent his life enriching himself at the expense of others," Lichtman said. "He's the first candidate in our history to be a serial fabricator, making up things as he goes along."

He noted that Trump has also taken other questionable steps, likeembracing Russian President Vladimir Putin, inviting Russian hackers to meddle in the US election, and threatening to blow Iranian ships out of the water if they came too close to US vessels.

"Given all of these exceptions that Donald Trump represents, he may well shatter patterns of history that have held for more than 150 years, lose this election even if the historical circumstances favor it," Lichtman said."

In other words, the political climate favors a Republican, but the Republican candidate is Trump...so the usual predictions are thrown way off.

Honestly, truly, I can see him winning the election, or at least the popular vote maybe. He does not believe in a lot of what he says, he cannot because he is not uneducated. His treatment of women is probably all too real, though. Anyways, a lot of people do not like Hillary, which I get but I like Hillary because she's a BAB. However, the President of the United States isn't voted on by the people of the United States. That task is reserved for select representatives in the electoral college so the popular does not necessarily matter unless no candidate wins the majority vote or something like that, IDK. I only know so much about the US government

Please stop having a meltdown over one professor who's predicting an election. Clinton is still ahead (by a small margin, mind you) in national polls. We'll see what happens to poll numbers after the debate. Again, she's STILL ahead and is likely to win.
