BloodyJudas 2,758
With Perry’s fourth studio album rumoured to be hitting shelves very soon, the singer is letting fans in on her process. “Last night I was in the studio, I’m just deep in the writing process,”“It takes a bit of time for me because I have to have those experiences and then write about them. I have to digest what I’m seeing and recycle it and give my perspective on it.” This time around, Perry’s broadening her network of collaborators, which she says has produced a whole new sound. “I’m working with a lot of unexpected writers and producers and … that’s bringing out a lot of different things sonically. Even when I was working with my go-to producers, I’d always push them to play me a beat that was reserved for Three 6 Mafia or something like that.” http://etcanada.com/news/169579/katy-perry-opens-up-about-upcoming-new-album/ Katy coming for another number one smash Keeping my fingers crossed for her!!! It would be nice to see her evolve as an artist.
The Surrealist 27,470
Just now, BloodyJudas said: ”It takes a bit of time for me because I have to have those experiences and then write about them. I have to digest what I’m seeing and recycle it and give my perspective on it.” Katy Perry's "Elizabeth" album is coming. Also, how coincidental that everytime Gaga announces something, Perry suddenly talks about her new album. No shade, just an interesting observation. littlepotter 75,145
Katy whenever she talks about her music, it sounds like when people are presenting a group project at school and the teacher starts asking the kid who didn't do any of the work to explain what they did chaeri pls

It would be nice to finally hear something that doesnt sound like all of her older stuff, thats what Id like to see and better lyrics than Do you ever feel like a plastic bag. And no shade, just stating the obvious. Cause she always says something about the upcoming music and it turns out to be the same song again. Like she said Prism was gonna be dark, well Roar certainly delved into her dark side, besides sounding like Firework, which sounded like Teenage Dream, which sounded like every song on the album Teenage Dream. I just wanna see something new, cuz let me tell you Rise sounded like an older sister of Pearl and Who Am I Living For?

Bear 7,515
I'm actually interested in this, I'd like to see if she can do something more serious and new. It better not disappoint and be another Dark Album/Prism scenario again though
Lucas 27,045
"Last night I was in the studio, I’m just deep in the writing process,”“It takes a bit of time for me because I have to have those experiences and then write about them. I have to digest what I’m seeing and recycle it and give my perspective on it." I don't know how the lyrics of the album will be, if she wrote it alone, but PRISM has 21 different writers and we still ended up with songs having the most basic simple lyrics... Sorry I just think she's trying so hard to be artistic and make it look like it's from herself when she relies so much on hits producers to have good charts positions
