Before I go on further, it's fair to let "old gaga fan" to explain. PI has disconnected many fans towards what they really loved about Gaga. I for one, found PI to be lacked of creativitiy, boring, unexcited. It's very unlike what Gaga did usually; just think of her songs since TF -> ARTPOP. MV has changed. Each of her MV before PI have cool dance choreography that goes well with the tone of the song. PI MV is too boring for Gaga's standard. Gaga doesn't care much about the fans anymore. When she received awards, it was common that she thanks the fans first before anyone else. And she constantly Tweets, post something for the fans in social media. That was the past, she doesn't even mention much about fans in interviews anymore. The activist Gaga has gone. This is obvious. She sets the trend in Twitter as she likes, "let's trend this", and Twitter trend would go wild. She seems to have lost that trending power. I haven't listen Joanne yet, will I buy the album? I wouldn't want to change the album title or anything but it is kind of sad for me. i can kind of relate to the whole 'Joanne' concept but not really at the same time... I mean we have known about her since day one in Gaga's career and as personal as it is I can't stop feeling like the whole idea is a bit recycled. now i'm all up for Gaga going raw and country but for me, she would have to go all the way there and not halfway like with Perfect Illusion that isn't fully pop, fully rock or fully indie.
