Katie14 4,828
I think its interesting how fascinating the concept of fame is for Gaga. If you look back, all her albums have fame as a central theme. The Fame is about feeling famous when you are not and what she perceives being famous is like. The Fame Monster is about her fears and the dark side of fame. Born This Way is about her being herself despite being what other people project onto her. ARTPOP is about her striving to be artistic and commercial at the same time. Joanne is about coming down from the high of fame and going back to her roots?? Do you agree? Why do you think Gaga is so interested in fame?
SlaeUrAnus 15,955
Imo, cause Gaga had it so hard before she made it mainstream e.g. performing in bars & clubs, getting rejected etc. She has always been obsessed with being famous anyway probably ever since she started playing the piano. In my messy era.
MrJakeNathane 90
I agree gaga once spoke of the "Sociology of Fame" in an interview. I think shes is still exploring this notion. This bitch should be studied in Art History.
The Surrealist 27,470
In my opinion only The Fame (Monster) is about Fame. Born This Way is about herself and her fans. ARTPOP is about her art and inspiration. Joanne is about herself and her life.
Dorothy Gale 7,575
TFM isn't about fame. It's about Gaga's fears, but her fears aren't all rooted to her fame.
