These are the guys that did the "Selfie" song, right? Plus, the pretentious laced chorus of their Closer song Not at all trying to hate on them or their successes...all the best to them. Was just hoping that their message was not as literal as their songs' lyrics and their acceptance of the whole "frat bro" attitude/label. They also use the term "dude" in that Billboard article, which I've always appreciated from a counter-culture, hippie standpoint (or even the "Dudeism" religion) but that doesn't seem to be the case/connotation in 2016. I just feel like this type of stuff is a good, general example of why millennials get a bad reputation (in terms of music, culture, etc). And I'm saying this as a millennial, myself. Oh well! That being said, the "yore just JELLUS" argument falls apart when it's more than just Gaga fans ripping into these guys. Not everybody who thinks you're an ass thinks that way "because they're jealous"; there are PLENTY of better people to be jealous of. Just accept the fact that some people do certain things that make them look bad to other people.
