boneknuckleskin 776 Posted September 16, 2016 Share Posted September 16, 2016 So the Applause from the ArtRAVE is not the Applause I know and love. Am I alone in this? I hated the costume hated the choreo hated the way she sang it. It didn't do Applause justice. I expected a more dark and explosive performance more in line with the video. It sucks, because it was easily one of my top 5 favorite Gaga songs ever but probably my least favorite performance (DWUW comes in a very close second). So I'm hoping on this next tour -- with these two songs no longer occupying "prime" slots in her sets -- that maybe they will get a different aesthetic that is more in-line with their music videos (what we've seen of them) and their meaning. But the artRAVE performance was kind of underwhelming to me too #justice4applause I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time. But you are definitely right about the other part, that DWUW performance is one of my favorites ever, her vocals, the theatrics, the ending, everything was awesome. I liked the artRave a lot and I do think i5 gets unnecessary hate but I understand when it comes to the Applause segment cuz it was juts not that good, I was hoping for something more in line with the iTunes festival performance.
