Skip to 11.13 in this interview right here. She also described - word-for-word - this same image to Elvis, too. It's very clear that she has an incredibly vivid image in her head. It may not have been shot yet (almost certainly so), but I do believe that she fully knows what she wants. This feels very solid to me - Gaga's explanation is too vivid and considered for it to be meaningless; especially since she has repeated it more than once now. This also adds up to the album title of Joanne, as this 'woman' she talks of is very clearly herself but in an incarnation of Joanne. I think Gaga has given us a great deal of information through sub-text. But she is also DEFINITELY a bit more weathered, gown up, and emotional. It's like life got real and she was forced to grow up. Infinity Wave 7,634 Posted September 12, 2016 Share Posted September 12, 2016 I think you are right on most of the things but I don't think the album is called "Joanne" If it was to be called "Joanne", Gaga would have been playing the same "role" througout the album, herself like the incarnation of her father's sister; but as she already told, LG5 is not a concept album, and ahe plays in every song a different role, her father's daughter, her sister's sister etc Imo LG5 could be called "Stefani" cuz it just represent who she is with no incarnation of any particular role But I don't think she has choosen a title so obvious, yet so important and meaningful Colourful Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Although I think a lot of fan theories about the Joanne title does make a lot of sense, I'm not really here for it.
