There is a sort of whorling bass synth that is flying up and then culminates in a "clap clap" or really more of a "beat-clap" actually. Over this Gaga is singing "ooooh you were a perfect illusion" I love that whorling bass synth, I have no idea what it's called. Go listen to that part now! 0:46 to 0:50.
