Well sorry if i seem rude but then you guys need more people because its just not enough, GGD 1.0 was a much better place where ppl were kept under control and everything was peaceful, 40 reports a day and just 3 warnings? Thats not how you manage a community that is basically at war, plus i keep seeing newbies that just join to troll and i dont see them going anywhere, if you expect them to get to 10 warnings b4 you get them out, thats not doing a good job, its like waiting for a bully to ruin 10 childrens lives before doing something about it.

I think late Born This Way and pretty much all of ARTPOP had harsher criticism than this era so far. I just think it's more noticeable this time around because there's less members and a lot of fans just like the song instead of pretending it's the best thing in the world. I would honestly take a forum of people being critical and honest rather than the blind stanning some did for ARTPOP. Now that was grating.

Are some people being over dramatic? Yes, it's GGD... It's what happens but should that be what we focus on? No, it isn't.

I like Christina, but she has never really been known as a touring force, except for one tour where she did well. She then had two albums in a row that didn't do so great and she had The Voice going on and a child at home. It wasn't worth her time to be away from her child and husband in the end. 

Yes, IF there was no single that did well and very low album numbers, the budget might be smaller, so we might get something like the Roseland shows...but longer and a bigger set. That wouldn't be the end of the world. Many super fans, casual fans and the general music loving audience would love to see a tour like that! Maybe that would mean she could go to some places and countries that she has had to skip in the past. I would love to not have to fly and stay in a hotel, just to see a concert. Every Gaga concert ends up costing me well over a thousand dollars. I imagine there are tons of fans that don't have a thousand dollars to see a concert, therefore have had to miss Gaga's tours. Would it be so bad if those fans had a chance to see an artist they have been following for years?

I didn't say I was done, silly goose. When one says sorry if they seem rude, they are being so and there is no seeming. And instead of crucifying me, do what everyone else does and report what you see

i feel it's one thing to give a personal opinion of a song (whether you like it or not) but it's another to be concerned about charts and stuff. the latter is really eyeroll worthy imo. analyze from a personal level, that's what matters.

It was the most unbearable thing ever being a Monster in 2013 and coming here on GGD and witnessing all the hate, insecurity and desperation. People only posted things to create meltdowns and watch everyone argue.

Back then I would only visit the site from time to time just to see what all the fuss was about. It was cold, dark world. 90% of posts were hateful AGAINST Gaga.

I only joined in December last year once all the haters had nothing to say except repeat themselves. I think Gaga has realised that us younger people shouldn't share too much information online - anything can be used against us in the wrong hands.

Actually I think it might mean she visits less countries, a smaller budget would mean smaller venues which may be harder to profit off of and harder to justify sending the show to other countries. 

This is the type of stuff that concerns me, chart success means nothing for music quality but it could mean the show doesn't visit out there nations. It could also mean the era gets the plugged pulled earlier. 

All that said, I still have hope she will do well. The first week of PI, a single with an iTunes banner and a month of hype, just doesn't look that promising. But it could turn around, so we will have to see.

And believe me, I'm not trying to be negative. In the end, I'll see the theater show and love the album all the same. I just want this album to get what it will likely deserve plenty of singles (meaning plenty of m/vs and promo performance at major award shows) and I want the tour to be done as well as the last few.

No, it really doesn't mean that at all. There are many artists, who sell way less than Gaga will ever do, that tour worldwide. Actually, a larger profit can be made from smaller venues. 

A month of hype? The promo just started. We just had an exact date a week ago. The hype has been very minimal. The promo is very good thusfar for radio and it is just starting out. It has nothing to "turn around" from. Most songs take time and a sustained promo effort. There will be much more coming up.

@T E A Honestly, what is going on here seems to be overwhelming. I've been using the forum since April only for news without posting cause I don't see the point any more.

Back in 2013 I was enjoying ARTPOP, blasting it everyday unaware of this forum and the negativity that surrounds the fanbase. It seems like it wasn't the era's fault, it is the fanbase's. At this point I'm okay with being a Gaga fan only and not a Little Monster cause this name has accumulated very negative connotation.

But I still remember my fellow ARTPOPists and miss you guys. I hope you're enjoying PI as much as I am.
