SO glad Play sounds completely different. Drops/GoodWorker definitely sounded connected. Play sounds like down-tempo.. I don't even know. Like they found a dive bar in the middle of the forest and decided to go in Oh hay maybe that's why the car stopped in Good Worker!

Good worker is so Kate Bushy, her vocals are amazing. It's like 80s synth pop. The production is probably my favourite so far. That first vocal trill is exquisite.

I wonder... How many tracks are there to release prior to the album? I hope the album versions (and I'm actually sure about this) will be a little more extended and edited whatnot. Otherwise, listening to the whole pack would feel... Ordinary

They're playing another concert! It's set to be at the Stockholm Music and Arts festival on the 5th of August. It's the same day Björk will play her set at the festival.

När Youtube började fyllas med kryptiska videosnuttar med en lika kryptisk avsändare gick hela bloggosfären i skallgångsled efter upphovsmakarna. Trots detta finns det få konkreta sanningar om iamamiwhoamis sättning eller huvudpersoner. Vilket är riktigt jävla kul.

Vad vi vet är att Jonna Lee är den som tilldelats rollen som ansiktet utÃ¥t (en delaktighet som hon i och för sig aldrig kommenterat) men sedan blir grÃ¥zonerna tätare. Ett audiovisuellt album, döpt till â€kinâ€, släpps via Cooperative Music världen över den 11 juni 2012, nÃ¥got som nagelbitarna med allra största säkerhet redan markerat med rött i kalendern. â€Good Workerâ€, ett utav tre kapitel frÃ¥n â€kin†som dykt upp pÃ¥ Youtube, är fem minuter av pur konst för ögat och örat.

Förra Ã¥ret fick vi ett första IRL-smakprov när iamamiwhoami uppträdde pÃ¥ Way Out West i Göteborg. Aldrig för har mystiken varit sÃ¥ tät och när allt exploderade i en nÃ¥got lätt fantastisk syntpopfest var ingen klokare. De fick pris som â€Ã¥rets innovatör†av Grammis-juryn. Allting banar vägen för detta Ã¥ret ska bli iamamiwhoamis Ã¥r.

Om det är Stockholm Music & Arts som bestämt att iamamiwhoami ska spela på festivalen eller om det faktiskt är tvärtom vet vi inte. Att det blir något kryptiskt och utöver det vanliga vet vi dock. Det med allra största säkerhet.

Those who lived under a digital rock the past two years may not have known what or whom iamamiwhoami is but for the rest of the viral world, there's no real excuse. When YouTube started to be filled with cryptic video clips with an equally cryptic dispatcher walked the entire blogosphere in skallgångsled after the creators. Nevertheless, there are few concrete facts about iamamiwhoamis setting or main characters. Which is really ****ing funny.

What we know is that Jonna Lee is the assigned role as the face (an inclusion that she, in itself never commented on) but then becomes gray areas more dense. An audio-visual album, dubbed "kin", released by Cooperative Music around the world June 11, 2012, as Nail the pieces with the utmost security is already highlighted in red on the calendar. "Good Worker", one out of three chapters of "kin" that appeared on Youtube, is five minutes of sheer art for the eye and ear.

Last year we got a first IRL-taste when iamamiwhoami performed at Way Out West in Gothenburg. Never before has the mystery been so tight and when it exploded into something light fantastic synth pop festival was none the wiser. They received an award as "Innovator of the Year" by the Grammy-jury. Everything clears the way for this year will be iamamiwhoamis years.

If this is the Stockholm Music & Arts who have decided to iamamiwhoami to play at the festival or if it's actually the contrary we do not know. That there is something cryptically and out of the ordinary, we know. It is with extreme safety.

Play is amazing, the ending is really creepy, it's like she's coming out of a daze.

first thing I thought when the cray-**** started going down was - major Kate Bush influence. The thunder reminds me of Kate's "The Dreaming" and the barn setting is reminiscent of Kate's "Suspended in Gaffa" video :D
