This thread assumes that Ronson and the other producers are the reason they dislike the track. No. This is Gaga's vision and a similar thing would have been made with RedOne so don't fool yourselves. You guys don't even know what RedOne's production would sound like with Gaga's current vision and you're jumping ship. :fthis:

No, it's not Gaga's vision. Kevin came with the demo. You can say it was Kevin's vision and Gaga liked it.

I would have unstanned if she really went through with a RedOne lead. Thank god he's no where near this album now.

No way. This record is such a grower. After a couple times of being unsure about it, it's grown to be one of my favorite Gaga records of all time. I'm OBSESSED and in LOVE.

It is Gaga's vision. Bad Romance was Gaga's vision when she worked with RedOne back then. This is her vision now, and it's brilliant. Even if Kevin brought the demo in, this is what she wanted. If one of the RedOne tracks would've been what she wanted, it would've been the lead. This is what she wants, and I'm so proud that this is the record she chose.

:derpga: no way **** making the music that launched me into the stratosphere made me fortunes and put the whole entire world in the palm of my hand. I'm doing analogue now.

Not necessarily...

I mean, the instrumental is beautiful but the lead vocals... not so much...
The lead vocals are too raw (I'm sorry, but there are few places when she doesn't quite hit the right note...) and definitely TOO LOUD. All those beautiful instruments/nuances just sink and you don't really hear them because Gaga just shouts through half of the song.

I would just want a good vocal producer and the lead vocal to be few dB quieter. Backing vocals are gorgeous but also barely audible.

Lead vocal kind of ruins the whole song for me #SorryNotSorry :koons:

See i just thought of this. If gaga aims to have a number one she should've released the red one lead but she wants to take risks and try new things to evolve as an artist.

I want RedOne on the album because lettuce be cereal Gaga/RedOne collaborations always, always, always blow me away. I don't think producer matters re: lead single to be honest.. no-one except the stans care about producers. The GP will eat up any lead single Gaga releases.

Born This Way single was trash and Applause talked about koons and whatever, how do people not like PI? LOL

You don't know that.

The last time they collaborated on a song was in 2011.

This album will have its own message. RedOne's productions are definitely going to be of a certain great pop standard that we all enjoy, but it was probably not cohesive with the ideas in this album. In my opinion the album's cohesiveness matters more than who produces it!
