You replied to me. I simply thought the title should be changed to something that was at least somewhat truthful. We have people here who don't understand charts, so a thread title like this can cause unnecessary concern. A thread title change shouldn't be some major ordeal. Even if they were listening to it not knowing it was Gaga, finding out it was her singing didn't sway their opinion. The good part of this though is that none of you should feel like it's any of your fault. Gaga has said countless times that she's gonna make the kind of music she wants and if they're not chart-topping pop hits, that's her prerogative, not the fans'. Just go with it. I don't HATE IT, but i have no desire to listen to it. This whole idea of "you need to let it grow on you" is nonsense. It shouldn't take 500 listens to like a song, otherwise you're just self-brainwashing yourself to like it. In regards to success, i would be less bothered if i truly loved the song and knew for sure that it was gaga's absolute best work, but i don't feel that it is. I am worried how the era will pan out now, and should this song not have much success, it doesn't bode well for the album's success and ultimately gaga's longterm success. the implications may not seem that major if one song flops, but actually, they really are.
