That's ridiculous. If he is not a fan of the material, why "support her and get over himself?" There is a reason he - or anyone else - became a fan: the material, Gaga herself, her talent, etc.

It's really difficult to tell at this point. The song has a massive hook that will undoubtedly get stuck in people's heads. I mean, personally, when "Hello" came out, I had no idea if it would really break records or become a smash with the GP because I thought people were over her ballads, and now look. With the radio deal and the public genuinely wondering where Gaga has been for the past three years, it might generate a huge interest in the song.

I wasn't a fan back then, but something similar happened to Born This Way and Judas, didn't it? 

So yeah, it's very likely the pattern will be the same IF there is a second single before the album release

The whole forum is littered with people literally tearing Gaga to shreds and giving up on a song that was released not even a day ago. When the fans give up immediately that's a bad sign for the era. The fans keep it afloat until the GP catches on. If you don't like it, please just move along or maybe even wait a few days. Gaga deserves better than you ungrateful people. I swear today is the day I'm gonna get loads of wps. I won't allow your ☆▪《~opinions^|•《 to ruin a special day. And the same fans thst don't support her will complain the era does bad when it's their faults

I'm not sure. I've been a fan since The Fame but ARTPOP was the first era I followed closely. Let's hope we get the second single sooner rather than later and the album just in time for the holidays and that it all does well

I understand the frustration, but do understand the frustration of fans who are disappointed as well. Agree or not, she has a responsibility to deliver to her fans and gain new ones along the way.

I am also being torn apart on a forum called GAGA THOUGHTS (where I am supposed to share my thoughts) because I don't like the song. Ask the mods to change the title to GAGA PRAISE and I will step out.

I can't believe people are calling me a hater when I own every album, every single, every EP - all digital and physical - only because I don't like the new single and said so.

You're allowed to be disappointed or to not like everything she does, but this isn't the time to just sit and complain about the first new song in 3 years. The song just came out. Just enjoy yourselves instead of trying to take Gaga down
