It kind of puts more salt to that wound, that's one of the (few) problems I have with this song. That it's just heartbreaking! She said she'll keep revisiting that moment every time she sings it and I don't want that for her at all. One of the reasons I love Applause (and also BTW, Just Dance) is that they are such joyous and celebratory songs but PI makes me upset every time I think deeply about it.
