My thoughts/hope is the short length will contain epic quality enough to make it a song you want to hear more of and the shorter length forces more repetition. somnambulist 1,526 Posted September 8, 2016 Share Posted September 8, 2016 Poker Face is literally the same exact length if you take out the 6x Poker Face repetitions at the end that don't really add to the song (and were cut in the radio version) I get that we're thirsty and the hype is ridiculous so anything short seems bad, but radio friendly songs are OFTEN (not always) short but memorable.
