Yeah I don't remebe any leaks of the single either. I remebe having to download the iheartradio app just to hear it play on the radio since it wasn't being put up til 4pm due to the early release

Every station wants to be the first to play a new song from a big name artist

 

They know that Somewhere there would be a radio station inclined to do something stupid

 

This is especially true of smaller radio stations

 

A big station wouldnt wanna get involved in public criticism or trouble with Label or destroy its trustworthy reputation

 

But the attention a small station could stand to get by being the first to play it might make it hard to resist

So XTRARADIO lied to us. Why are people having meltdowns? KIIS and iHeart Stations said that they'll play it on the 9th and they're much more reliable  I doubt that radios receive singles more than a day in advance.
