Did little overreactioners take the "album of the decade" comment too far?

Gaga said btw would be the album of the decade when she was speaking to ha audience one time in her concert. Then little exaggerators stretched that comment out for the next few years, acting like she had announced it in a presidential address or like she had edited her Wikipedia page to say "album of the decade" when all she did was make a slightly overblown comment in the heat of a concert to elicit a good reaction. Did little boredsters take it too far, again?
