The law is crealy made to humiliate and oppress Muslim women. It works great for further integration right? Another woman was fined in front of her kids for sitting at the beach in hijab, while the crowd shouted "get out, we are Catholics here". There is nothing liberating or democratic about this law and the police works in very similar way, to control how the women should dress. Exactly, if someone wants to wear it, they should have the right to do so. In America, it's your right. This kitten over here (meow)

Lona Delery 7,227
Well, this thread exaggerates a lot. F.e. noone here tells anyone how to dress just because one piece of clothing is banned. But anyway, yes, what the police did was wrong. It is a beach after all, not a swimming pool where a burkini can be a hygenic threat, so it shouldn't be banned there. Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride
