I keep up with Charles Gross, and as much as I enjoy his videos, he is a little pretentious and kind of not in touch with reality. Lol. He tends to talk down on celebrity fragrances and affordable luxury, but he doesn't realize that some people can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars on perfumes and thousands on handbags and wallets. He lives on the Upper West Side, with his rich parents, and goes shopping every day. I try and take his opinion on some things with a grain of salt. I also watched this video and he thinks that Gaga's perfume smells generic, but yet when I smelled YSL's Black Opium, which he likes, I thought they smelled quite similar. So to each their own I guess. 

But OP, Gaga looks so over the interview. Haha. I also wore this today . I love the bottle design and the smell. Guess I like smelling like a slut also.

I had Black Opium, I thought it had a nice dark musky berry undertone but throughout the day the scent grew into this unbearable rotten chocolate smell. I gave it to my sister.  

Fame just smells cleaner, elegant, and way more sexier in my opinion. I know that the perfume smells different on everybody which intrigues me.

her SASS during this era was remarkable.  I love the perfume. I still have almost half a bottle, I haven't been using it as much as my others lately.

I haven't worn Black Opium on my skin, but when I tried it at the store a few times the sweet berry smell I got from spraying it on the card reminded me of Fame. I actually thought about getting it, because I like its dark musky undertone. I might try it on my skin now though based on what you said. I really don't want to smell like rotten chocolate. 

I have a love/hate relationship with Fame. It smells good to me, and I love it's powdery soft layer after the first layer dies down, but I also have to remind myself to use it because I tend to gravitate to other perfumes. Also, my ex really liked when I wore it, so maybe that's another reason why I don't wear it nearly as often anymore.

I remember thinking Fame would end up smelling like skank perfume (for those who don't know, "skank" is a real category of perfume comprised of animalic/musky scents). I was so surprised when it turned out to be so sweet-smelling.
