Innovative LG5 Marketing Ideas

i once thought that Gaga's album cover should contain some kind of illusion that would go extremely viral - similar to the White/Gold and Black/Blue dress situation! (her then explaining it as a depiction of the album itself, everyone interpreting it differently)

can you imagine the publicity and promo the album would get?

Oh my ****ing Judass YES. You just need to find a way to give it a little more longevity, which won't actually be hard, knowing that there is something else to promote than the cover. It would be phenomenal.

exactly! like something minimalistic and simple would do the job, but i hope she doesn't hold back on her creativity this time around.

i'm really excited to see what Perfect Illusion's single cover is going to look like

The fact that she still hasn't revealed the single cover is basically a confirmation that the promo is going to revolve around mystery this era. Also, her website is very mysterious at the moment. Mystery, mystery everywhere.

She has so many great relationships with music icons.

I think that if she used that to her advantage it could be helpful

Perhaps like a TV special called "You and I: Legends Sing with Gaga"

And have people like Cher, Paul McCartney, Elton, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder, etc., sing Gaga's greatest hits with her to remind audiences of Gaga's past work right before she releases the album, like have it air the day the album comes out.

I think intricate billboards would be cute

like for The Dark Knight Rises, something creative and expanding off the billboard

Something like:

britney-spears-american-dream.jpg?w=630&

That also allows you to stream songs from the album while playing, at the very least it's good advertising for the Gaga 'brand' in general.

Maybe she could even up her game and go this route

:laughga:

Something interesting like a set of Gaga comic books that extend some of the worlds from Gaga's music videos (Think Telephone esq plots where Gaga is bailed out of jail and goes on some rampage, except following the universe from the first or second music video for LG5).

A partnership with Apple and Coca-Cola would also be nice. Tidal and Pepsi are good enough brands for some :nails:

Also need a goddamn Unplugged MTV that I have needed for years now.

Some jazzy interpretations of her older stuff and LG5 stuff.

MysteriousGa will do stuff without telling us beforehand, and we'll never know what pushed her to do them. That woman really has her career planned out; she gave us a little taste of the mysterious era in 2009:

I'd especially love it if she premiered her new music in special parties held by fashion, art and music based stores, like in-store events. Business collaborations, brand expansion, and exposure.

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.

"Um I'd like a subscription to Apple Music, please."

"Sorry, is Tidal ok instead?"

My all-time favorite marketing tactic from all the girls is the Lana billboard that was put up in Hollywood prior to the release of Honeymoon.

Simple, artistic (I say this because without words, it almost serve as a work of art up for interpretation ... of course, we know now it was promo) and apt considering what the album is and where it is placed above (a historic, nostalgic diner on Hollywood, California ... on the West Coast).

I'm sure that also contributed to her million first sales week... we need domination

If we can think of a way for her to market a lead single/album it's probably not innovative.

this is the dumbest **** ive ever read. Innovative ideas can come from anywhere.
