Before it was "trendy" (for lack of better word) to be open and accepting of the gay community in the mainstream at all, let alone in hip-hop. Kanye is a good person. People only have an issue with him and hate him because he's loud and thinks very highly of himself. But his intentions are good and he's a decent human being. Most can't see past all the noise and just assume he's the worst when there are actually famous people that are mean spirited, intolerant etc...
