But, let's be honest... he could have never said "yeah I hate this record but, oh well I worked on it so I have to say I like it" - don't blame me, I'm not saying he doesn't really love LG5 or he's lieing when saying that, but hey he has to say he loves the record, he worked on it and wants it to be successfull!

It was so mean to announce the single a whole month before the release date, I was completly fine with just having expectations about the release date, but now that we have an actual date I feel I can't wait anymore

That's true but he doesn't need to say it's one of his favourites so I think it's definitely genuine

Rock?? Disco/Funk?? The first part of quote really indicates that she isn't necessarily doing pop music—almost as if this album's going to be for a different audience (but maybe not entirely). 

It was revealed that it'll be a "dance anthem", but that doesn't necessarily mean the 'dance anthems' of Just Dance, Poker Face, etc.
