Killa 17,460 Posted August 17, 2016 Share Posted August 17, 2016 I like that it's surpringly new, it feels very now and a touch of fresh air. Not what i was expecting but somehow it works. It's expected that a Gaga work stays in the vaguard of design. And this is just an anouncement, the simpler it is the more hype it creates. BricksNStrings 231 Posted August 18, 2016 Share Posted August 18, 2016 I've literally loved every single and album cover and announcement art, including her most simple or her most controversial, that she has ever put out: I thought Judas with its "texture" was hilarious and clever, I thought Marry the Night and Applause as video stills were perfect and encapsulated the song perfectly, I thought Just Dance fit the sound of the song and the feel of the video, Bad Romance and all of the TFM artwork was great...I've loved all of her album art, including the infamous motorcyleGa cover and the ARTPOP statue. And I've LOVED the two previous announcements images we've gotten (Bare assed with BTW jacket and tattoo on New Years and ARTPOP with the white visor and Venus hair.) This is the FIRST time I've seen any introductory visual from her and actively disliked it. However, I have changed my mind before with other things so I'm sure there's a possibility I will come to like it, and not everyone has to like everything. I just think it's interesting because I keep TRYING to like it: I don't dislike the font by itself, I don't dislike the colors, I don't dislike minimalism, I actually love the title itself and just saying "SEPTEMBER" instead of a specific date...but something about it all together looks bad to me.
