Yeah and she doesn't have that triangle in front of her face like the sketch, right?

Ooops, I didn't notice.

Yep. She looks like a s-xed up, showgirl version of the Predator. I love it.

I PRAY she continues to work with Armani throughout the next era! Can you imagine!

No, she'll work with Mugler for every performance and show. :derpga:

I love their work together. He knows how to capture her personality and craziness wonderfully.

So...who do you guys think will be the next Adele? And I am talking success.

If people could predict that they would be record executives :)

EDIT: I will also note. Some of the people or bands in the past that I've predicted to make it big have sold out entirely and at times even become raunchy in their attempts to make a splash. It has killed any desire I have had to be a fan. Sometimes hidden music is the best and I don't care for anyone to know about it.

Obvs. That is why I said "think". Cause we are all here to partake in discussion.

BTW, I could have predicted Adele's success 5 years ago. ;)

I think Lana was what people were originally predicting, then SNL happened...

She seems like a sweet girl, but, I just don't understand the fascination. Did you hear her on AI? Cuz I couldn't...

Oh I didn't know she even performed lol. She probably sings fine, but I just have a feeling she freaks out on stage. Nervous. Edited by Klou84

I absolutely adore Lana, but I never understood why people thought she would be huge. She doesn't have the kind of sound that would break her out of the indie crowd. A lot of people like to hype artists now just so they can say they were stans before anyone else.

Although I do remember telling everyone about how great Adele was back in 2008 after I heard "Hometown Glory" and they were all clueless lol.

Well if she has strong vocal ability under there somewhere, she needs to get it together and show the world...they're not gonna put up with these shaky performances for long.

YOU OUGHTA KNOW: Multi-platinum, Grammy-winning artist Alanis Morissette will release her seventh studio album, Havoc and Bright Lights, on August 28 through Collective Sounds/Sony RED, her first album in four years (since 2008's Flavors of Entanglement) and first outside the WMG system. Produced by Guy Sigsworth [Björk, Madonna, Seal] and Joe Chiccarelli [Tori Amos, Elton John, My Morning Jacket, U2] and recorded in Los Angeles, the album’s first single, “Guardian,†will be available on May 15 at iTunes, shipping to radio on May 11 for impact May 21. “This record, as always, is a snapshot of what I currently obsess about, care deeply about, and what strikes me at 4 in the morning in my most introspective moments,†says Morissette. “It is my emotional, psychological, social and philosophical commentary through song. I can't wait to share it with this fun and funny planet, and to tour, and can't wait to have the lively, engaging and challenging conversations that these songs may invite.â€

YES. I first heard about Adele when I saw the video for Hometown Glory on MTV early one morning, and then shortly after, Kelly Clarkson was saying how much of a fan she was.

Now EVERYONE'S her "fan"

Weird...it's not that this is a bad track - it's very well sung and produced - makes you wonder why someone that once sold 1M debut week, is now on track to sell 90-100k copies of her newly released album...

I actually won't mind that, lol ;)

But you're right on the irony, she has to experiment with designers.
