She earned it. Her career may not reach those astronomical heights again but she'll never be over unless it's something pr-related, which what happened with glitter.

music wise lol she can do other things. Most of it is off her legacy, which i was referring to. All I Want for Christmas Is You is selling because its an amazing christmas song, not because it has mariah's name, its not like her other singles/albums. I'm not trying to tear down Mariah, she's just at a different point in her career.
