Say what you want about the basic needs of the GP, I've yet to see a genuinely uncatchy, bland, derivative and audibly unoriginal mess be a major hit.. I only said that "Her ARTPOP era, people said?" made no sense because it implies that ARTPOP did badly when infact Applause was more successful than any Katy song in France. We all know the ARTPOP era underperformed by her standards and people say that Katy is now due hers however considering she is setting new highs for herself with Rise then it isn't true. She is not having her ARTPOP (underperformance) era. Considering the track is for the Olympics and there's only rumours of a possible album some time this year then it's a massive achievement.
