He does have people on stage, dancers who can move stuff away for him. He doesn't have to gush about gifts, but why so damn rude?

If this would be Gaga everyone would drag her without mercy. 

He apologized though, and clarified what he was really thinking without the mean tone. I think that's admirable, and I think it's interesting that people here don't seem to mention that part of the story at all. He has clarified multiple times (in respectable words and a calm tone too) that he's going through a very difficult personal time, and he's feeling stifled and isolated by the way he's experiencing fame and his fanbase. These little personal outbreaks are perfectly understandable (which is not the same thing as justifiable, don't quote me about that pls) in that frame, but that's a frame that none of you bring up here

So what I'm seeing is people who are over-eager to jump on him and judge him instead of trying to understand what's going on and respecting him for speaking out about something that's important to his own mental health at the very least, and for apologizing and clarifying his stances when his emotions get the better of him. So I think you guys are the rude ones who are showing a lack of respect, actually  If this was Gaga you would pay attention to the contextual frame, as fans here have done consistently when Gaga made the various comments about how she dislikes to take pictures with people on the street etc.

I hate how people think speaking your mind is the same as being genuine and real, implying that people who don't speak their minds are fake.

No, it's just that some people are courteous and give a sh!t about people's feelings. I'm sure even Gaga gets tired with the non-stop gifts, because after a while too much of anything starts to leave a bitter taste in the mouth. But she still accepts those gifts with love and grace, because she's a kind, courteous person. 

The only fake around here is Justin Bieber, who is perfectly happy to live off his fans' money while also treating them like sh!t. The sooner he fvcks off into obscurity, the better.

No, I did not say that at all. I'm saying that people who speak their minds shouldn't be automatically praised for being real and genuine. There's a difference between honesty and being plain rude. If I received a gift from somebody, I wouldn't tell them it's sh!t and say I didn't want it. That doesn't make me fake, it means I have manners. I'm not "cloaking my emotions" - I'm saying how I feel because I don't think Justin Bieber deserves my respect. 

Also, yes he does treat his fans like sh!t. He refuses to meet them, take pictures with them, throws their gifts out of his car... This is what he signed up for. This is what fame is. I don't give a crap if he feels stifled by his fanbase. If you don't like the game, stop playing.

His frustration is understandable, but his tone and choice of words were not okay. He could have been a bit more sincere and nice about it, not calling them "sh*t". But it's good that he apologized afterwards, that's nice of him, I suppose.

He didn't receive a gift, a fan threw something ridiculous on stage mid concert. Y'all are doing the most to discredit him. And I was talking about Gaga accepting gifts against her wishes as cloaking your emotions.

Manners are overrated anyway, because people will only bring them up to bash someone and justify the behavior of someone else. Did the fan have manners for throwing something irrelevant on stage mid-show? Throwing gifts in his car? No. Yet I'm not seeing you write posts about that  Did you show good manners for calling him fake and telling him to **** off now too, really?

And I guess I'll keep this post in mind when Gaga makes another statement about how isolating and discouraging fame is, and how she hates to take pictures with fans because it ruins the honest exchange between her and the fans. I'll make sure you'll repeat your "This is what you signed up for. This is what fame is. I don't give a crap if you feel stifled by your fanbase. If you don't like the game, stop playing" nonsense there too

He clearly didn't mean it in the way the headline tries to sell it. He used "****" as a substitute for "stuff"/"things" - I do that all the time...

It's a poor choice of words, sure, but using that to say he actually offended his fans and acted like an a-hole, that's a huge stretch...

There's nothing rude about giving gifts to your idol. They're little girls who are showing adoration for their favorite pop star. They're literally giving him gifts for Christ sake, how is that rude. 

And my point about Gaga is that it isn't fake to accept a gift out of courtesy, even if she doesn't want it. That's pretty normal human behavior actually. But if Bieber is perfectly happy to live off his fans' money, while also rejecting their love and support, then that is pretty duplicitous behavior tbh.

I've also said many times before how much I hate it when Gaga whines about fame and taking selfies. But at the same time, until I see her throw a gift out of a car or refuse to take a selfie with a fan, I will continue to stand by her and support her as the kind, loving person she is.

He's not doing that omg he's rejecting fans throwing gifts at him as if he's an animal and not respecting his space. A hat randomly thrown on stage does not equal the love and support of his fanbase.

In fact, that fanbase cheered for him when he dissed that fan because they agreed with him, if you read the article correctly, and he still apologized.
