It's not that we hate rap, it's that literally EVERYONE has been making these types of songs since like, 2012. We're tierd of unneeded features.

I love Jewels N' Drugs.

However, Jewels N' Drugs is not a ballad.

I hate the idea of a good ballad being absolutely ruined by a talentless male rapper.

Starstruck and Jewels N' Drugs are completely different songs from Edge of Glory and Gypsy.

Plus everyone hates the idea of Gaga making her comeback not on her own merits.

Also, there like several billion of these "a wild rapper appears" songs, Katy Perry being infamous for them. no one really likes them and in radio edits, the rapper is usually the one edited out, so what's the actual point?

Rap features are the most useless thing ever thrown into pop music.

I have a feeling someone at the label tried to force her to do one for ARTPOP and her response was to make a song with 3 rappers and a Gaga feature.

Well, first of all, this sounds tragic but I get your point. Second of all, I think I'm the only one who wanted her to go more urban with this record, but obviously we ain't getting that afterall.
