Third this is a really sketchy source Kind of wrong on all things there. Gaga may identify with Catholicism, however she seems to be an agnostic or maybe even Omnist with Christian/Catholic tendencies. I don't think it truly matters to her if she was married by the Dalai Lama, though I believe if the pope was available she'd probably go for the pope. Secondly, marriage isn't an American thing. Nor is it a christian thing. You don't need to be either of those to officiate a wedding. Or be in a wedding. As long as Gaga and Taylor have their marriage licenses and the Dalai lama is in some way capable of officiating a wedding, it will work. Though I agree with you on the source. HOWEVER, I remember there being rumors since... maybe May, that Gaga plans on getting married in india.
SKANK 14,288
A Mennonite and a Roman Catholic to be married by a reincarnated Buddhist God? Sounds plausible.

What I'm saying is that the Dalai Lama would need to have a license to be able to marry Gaga and Taylor, I don't know the specifics but I'm sure that it is hard or impossible to get a marriage license to be able to marry American citizens if you aren't American yourself, regardless of where they have the wedding the paperwork and registration will be in America so to make it official the Dalai Lama needs to have an American license was NickARTPOP

You don't need to be officiated in America to have the marriage be an America wedding if that makes any sense, I'm sure the Dalai Lama is only able to officiate weddings in Tibet so it would be unneceasruly hard to be married in Tibet and then have to teas fee that to the US, it's a moot point anyways because I highly doubt it will happen was NickARTPOP

They become actual husband and wife in America, with no ceremony. They are officially man and wife. They go to wherever, to have a ceremony, where the Dalai Lama says a few words. His doesn't actually do anything official and the official has already been done. Though a quick and easy google search could very easily end all this blather. Yeah, in that case it would work, what I was talking about was him officially officiating their marriage, it's a moot point anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ was NickARTPOP

It would be interesting if he did do the actual legal officiating, but as I said, I unsure how it is done. I doubt that it's completely impossible though. Every state has different marriage laws, as long as you take care of the legal protocol before the ceremony the person who officiates the wedding is irrelevant. Asia could marry them. Shadow 6,632
Watch her become the 5th Buddha and come out being a form of Maitreya, from pop singer/gay icon to one of the most revered, iconic figures in history, how about that for legacy? but... All this seems a bit... FAR FETCHED... Like what the hell, it would give huge publicity for a wedding, but China might launch their entire navy to go after her. Do your own research.
