DeanWinchester 41,390 Posted July 15, 2016 Share Posted July 15, 2016 Seeing these threads today, it makes me feel so bad that enjoying new music has to be overshadowed by "competition". I mean, I'm not gonna lie. I enjoy the stan wars a bit. However, I still prefer just enjoying the music much better than petty fights. Still, it's so hard to discuss new music without such "feuds" get in the way. Now, monsters (including me, I must admit) are rattled by the release of other artists, or have suffered trauma from another pop star defeating Gaga in ONE era. Never mind that Gaga still had a lot of impressive achievement in the past, and she continues to be among the best sellers and respected musicians in the industry. People are still cautious. Is it all just mindsetting? Is the long wait for LG5 affecting this? Are certain artists really out to get their competition and win no matter what? Discuss. It really just depends on how seriously you take the whole competition and other shenanigans. I still listen to whatever I want to listen to, regardless. I only ever find it sad and pathetic, when people take it to heart or genuinely enjoy watching an artist getting torn apart, almost in a spiteful and gleeful way. But other than that, it's just music, after all. Take it for what it is.
