"Send My Love" Outpeaks "WWWY"

Gary Trust, head of the Billboard music charts reports this week that:

Seems like "Send My Love" is getting a warmer reception than "When We Were Young". Send My Love could be heading for the top 10, which would be a nice comeback for the singles released from 25. With "Hello" peaking at #1 but dropping off the charts much quicker than her previous hits, and WWWY peaking at #14 and only staying on the chart for 20 weeks, the singles released from 25 have under performed those of 21 (not to say its flopping or anything, just under performing her last album). But maybe Send My Love is here to show the longevity of 25. It seemed like the era was over for a hot second but now it looks like its back. 

I must say that the song has grown on me. 

Maybe she'll release Water Under the Bridge next and have the era go on even longer.

That song has country roots yet is so refreshing and fun. The video is a bit of an artistic mess but adele is looking pretty as fcuk in it, and thats what the gp wants deserves to be no. 1

WWWY deserved #1 WW though, it's a better song than Hello and one of the best songs on the album  An emotional bop.

WWWY should've been number one, however, I think she released it way too early bc Hello was still dominating. People were still into Hello they didn't listen to WWWY. she should've released it a while later.

SML should've been the second single tho... definitely an adele song that needs to chart. such a gorgeous song and I hope the gp eats it up more.

Water Under The Bridge, however, needs to slay. that song is destined to be a hit... the first few seconds where she sings that faded echo of a high note.... slay

The falsetto in the chorus SLAYS me, its what I think of instantly when I hear the song in my head
