I'm sorry, am I missing the declaration part somewhere? :saladga:

You missed RADICALS clearly written right there. I bolded and underlined it for you.

Idk why you are attacking him when he is clearly speaking about terrorists.

@Whispering the way you wrote your first comment, it's easy to understand that you meant that the month is meant to be violent as if it has basis in religion. You even specified what last ten days are supposedly "best" for.

If you just said, terrorists called for more attacks in Ramadan, that wouldn't be taken any different way.

First comment: "This month is supposedly particularly violent with the last ten days and last weekend being the best time for radicals to kill themselves in acts of terror...or some crazy thinking like that."

Clarification: "Notice I said from radicals. They make this month about violence."

Second Clarification: "Once again, for extremists."

Third Clarification: "...as many of the extremist groups feel that it calls for an uptick in their violent efforts."

Radicals/extremists who kill themselves in acts of terror are terrorists.

@JourneyToAvalon you also claimed they did not call for attacks during Ramadan yet they clearly did.

Look at this article from May 2016:

http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/22/world/isis-more-attacks-ramadan/

(CNN)A recording released online, purportedly from ISIS spokesman Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, has called for further attacks against the West.

The recording urges followers to carry out attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which begins in early June.

The roughly half-hour message in Arabic acknowledges losses against the anti-ISIS coalition but asserted the jihadist group would prevail in the long run.

The call comes after ISIS-inspired attacks on Western targets, from Brussels to San Bernardino, have shown the reach and influence of the jihadist group.

The message was released two days after EgyptAir Flight 804 crashed in the Mediterranean, but Adnani's recording makes no reference to the tragedy.

@Whispering Did you even read my previous post properly? What you highlighted is exactly what my point was but you wrote it against me. :air:

You never once wrote "terrorists" or IS.

"This month is supposedly particularly violent with the last ten days and last weekend being the best time for radicals to kill themselves in acts of terror...or some crazy thinking like that. "

I'm sorry, am I missing the declaration part somewhere? :saladga:

After all this argument I get what you meant but if you wrote it properly the first time, would have saved all our energy. :saladga:

Even though it only started last year and isn't really a thing.

Yes, you are missing it, as you are purposely ignoring the part I have bolded repeatedly for you now:

"This month is supposedly particularly violent with the last ten days and last weekend being the best time for radicals to kill themselves in acts of terror...or some crazy thinking like that. "

You could have saved your energy, if you read it properly in the first place, or paid attention to the multiple clarifications I made on the subject.

It is a "thing". You are ignoring the facts presented to you, just like you ignored the words and phrases used repeatedly to explain and clarify statements made.

Exactly plus the post wasn't clear and we misunderstood it. Simple. As. That.

I claimed this doesn't happen every year which whispering didn't exactly say but I thought she implied.

Honey, after all I wrote if you don't understand what I tried to mean then I suggest you let it go. :laughga: Trust me, I have. (Although in the end I did understand what whispering said after she finally got the words and facts right.)

Hope that explains everything (coz I ain't coming back here to explain AGAIN). :spin: Bye.

Writing extremists and radicals again on a new post isn't clarification, hun. :laughga:

And you think it's a thing, I think it's not a thing, that's our OPINION. The sooner you understand that, the better. People have opinions.

Maybe look up "empathy" too while you're at it. Just a suggestion. :staymad: See ya.

You wouldn't need to bold any parts or write any clarifications if you just simply said "terrorists called for more attacks this month".

Many people assume that radicals are those who take religion literally, so when in this case you tried to play theology and said this month is violent, particulary last ten days are the best for radicals to kill themselves..., like can you honestly not see how that wording is wrong?

And please don't repeat the same, if you have nothing to add, my point still stands.

So the only way to label these terrorist groups is your way? Radicals, who kill themselves in acts of terror, are terrorists. It's the same thing! Like, can you honestly not see how the wording is saying the exact same thing?

And please stop quoting me and making something out of nothing, if you can't comprehend what is meant with multiple explanations and clarifications. I'm quoting and bolding my previous five comments because I stand behind what I stated in the first place. You aren't going to put words in my mouth and make this into some racist statement. I explained who I was referring to from my first comment.

Language misinterpretation then.

However, American media refers to terrorists as 'radicals' often and I really don't see how after many clarifications it wasn't evident Whispering was talking specifically about terrorists

Yes, you jumped to a conclusion that was wrong. You "thought" wrong.

The clarification has been presented multiple times. And I'm not your hun or honey.

Yes, that is your opinion...and it isn't based on facts.

Empathy? WTF does that have to do with anything? Why would I empathize with these terrorist groups? I empathize with the victims and their families.

Please stop with the "byes", "see yas" and silly emoticons. This is a serious subject, not some pop girl fan fight.

You can just stop replying, you know.

I didn't put words in your mouth nor did I mention anything about being racist. I simply pointed out why your wording is wrong.

And I stand by that. Because I know what I'm talking about.

My point was that she wouldn't need clarifications if she didn't word it the way she did. That's all. But you all bold only one part and ignore the part with her interpretation of what this month is suppose to mean.

For example, there are 4 months in Islamic calendar when any warfare is forbidden, do you think terrorist chill and don't make any attacks in those months? No, they don't care. So when they call for violence in a month which is all about fasting, peace, prayer and reflection, there is no reason to suggest or try to find sense in it in theological way.

That's all I'm saying.

There is no theological sense to it. What was being referred to is what ISIS leaders said. THEY called for attacks during Ramadan and made it sound as if it's a time where more attacks should be conducted.

Never did I see anyone saying Ramadan is a time to kill people in Islam. What was said was that these groups specifically have called for attacks during Ramadan.

Of course, once again showing how they grab a religious practice and twist it to fit their agendas.

And wait, Whispering is a she? :rip:

The Islam is such a peaceful religion, isn't it? Importing more Islam into our country sounds like such a lovely idea, doesn't it?

Same for you. Nothing was wrong with my wording. You simply wanted it put your way.

Oh, you are an authority? Is there a president of official terrorist terminology? Thousands of respected news sources around the world disagree with you and don't buy into your personal "correct" terminology.

This month means a specific thing to the radicals/extremists that kill themselves in acts of terror...extremists that have been called upon to carry out acts of terror during this past month. Intelligence agents in every country (that have extensive capabilities) know that these radical/extremist groups have been called upon to up their terrorist activity during this past month.
