because most of her songs are very personal and mean a lot to her and talk about her life

I think Gaga has taken concrete measures to avoid "tarnishing" the image she's been trying to sell the last couple of years. A song she wouldn't release, is probably a song she doesn't want her name attached to. It's obvious that her name will somehow find its way into the comment section of the songs she co-wrote/produced, as evidenced by the videos you linked, which is not necessarily an appealing prospect for any singer trying to make a name for themselves, either. Plus, I'm sure labels can find more cost-effective songwriters/producers than Gaga.

The thing I have hated most about her the past 4 years is her lack of desire to be prolific. I've never seen a popstar in their 20s be so laid back....she acts like she has all the time in the world. She has so much unreleased material I don't understand why she doesn't give some songs to other artists or put more songs on film soundtracks or put an occasional track on applemusic or soundcloud....anything!

Her desire for everything to be an event has damaged her work and made her waste the prime years of her career ...she should learn to relax and go with the flow. Rihanna is the best example of this and you can hear it in her music.

It wouldn't be enriching for her. Her music is really meaningful and fits her, you wouldn't imagine these songs sung by other artists, not the way she does. To write a song for another artist it has to be... empty and basic I guess. Love songs and this stuff.

For all of those saying Gaga doesn't need to be famous anymore and isn't looking for ways to earn money that's why she isn't writing for other artists. But, Katy Perry and Sia still write songs for other artists..

I think Gaga writing songs for other artists would be cool too but at the same time I feel like I want her writings for herself if that makes sense. So confused. :emma:

doesn't need the money but I'd love her to make some tracks for Kesha, Bruno & Fifth Harmony. I'd love to see the results.

Fever still has me so mad omg. Her original version >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Honestly, her original version could play on the radio and still sound good (granted, it needs to sound cleaner than all the versions that exist online, but still). It's such a fun song, plain and simple.

3 points in and ready for more
