Last I check, she claims to be, so yes  She's specifically talked about bi-erasure that shes faced in the past. Some bi people feel pressured to not actually identify as Bi if they end up in "straight" relationships because of bi-erasure and that could definitely be what's happening here to explain her contradictory statements about being "an ally" or "straight". Maybe she thinks not being romantically attracted to women, or wanting a traditional heterosexual lifestyle (like marriage, kids, etc; something shes said she's always wanted and has been kind of expected because of her italian heritage) somehow disqualifies her from claiming the label. It definitely doesn't, but she may feel that way, this is all speculation.

Romantic and sexual orientations also don't HAVE to match btw

I think that the most she's ever done with women is sex, I don't think—or just generally remember—her ever saying that she's had a romantic relationship between her and another woman, but she also said that she doesn't need to prove her bisexuality. Side note: I just want to point out that you can be mostly attracted to one gender and still be bisexual. You can be a male and really like females and just like males—still in a romantic and sexual way though, not as in friendships—that doesn't mean you're straight. You're still bisexual. 

You can be female and be 90% attracted to other males and 10% attracted to other females: still bisexual. While I do think she prefers men, I don't think that she's straight.

She doesnt have to fall in love with a woman to be bisexual. If she sometimes thinks a certain woman is hot and wants to have sex with her then I would say she is Bi

Why are you guys caring so much about this? she has said in older interviews that she's bisexual. It's your choice to believe her or not

Regarding the comment in the speech mentioned in the OP, just like her super simple outfit, she didnt want to make this about her.

Secondly, being bisexual is harder than being gay, because even the gays discriminate and doubt you, or try to define your sexuality by percentages and stuff (like 90% of the posts in this thread)

Third, she could have changed, and being in a deep relationship like the one she is in right now could just change her ideas, love changes people.

4th, doubting her support for the LGBT community because of this is just plain stupid and wrong, even if it was a lie, it did get her closer to the community and allowed her to do more things for us, the community in general has this weird dumb syndrome of "if youre not part of us, dont talk about us"

And finally, its not any of us's business, and fudge anyone that judges her for this
