Xgongiviguess 396 Posted June 22, 2016 Share Posted June 22, 2016 After the suicide of Simone Battle, American girl band G.R.L., formed by Lauren Bennett, Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton and Paula van Oppen, officially disbanded on June 2, 2015 according Kemosabe and RCA Records, but there’s some good news for their fans. pie-kun 1,765 Posted June 22, 2016 Share Posted June 22, 2016 It's cool that they're coming back, but I'm not sure if I like the idea of them still being called G.R.L. when there's only two of the five original members there. I feel like they should retire the G.R.L. name and leave it as Simone's legacy, somehow it doesn't feel right for them to be bringing in new people and still calling it G.R.L.
