Would the old Gaga ever come back?

I think based on the Bowie performance we KNOW Gaga comes back everytime. Let her perform a fast paced rock or pop song and crazyGa comes back in full power, everytime.

For the better and for the worse, no.

That said, it's almost like the "old Gaga" never really went away- rather, as everybody else has said, she just evolved with her artistry, with her music, and with herself.

I do miss some of her fire and drive, though. I expect that to return with her new music, though, as it always does.

The Gaga that lived to shock people and get them out of their comfort zones (meat-dress wearing, bleeding on stage "Gaga") is dead tbh :rip:

But I think she'll always be eccentric/edgy/boundary-pushing — just in a more mature way.

I hope she brings back crazyga but a much more muture version of it.. I do hope there's an era where she is much more natural, little to no mackup, no choreo, just her and her piano.

I don't know, but I just remember vma 2011 lol.

When everyone dress like gaga.

And gaga be like "Surprise bitches" :toofunny:

Actually sometimes being unpredictable is so predictable. So yea... Sometimes less GaGa is OK.

I want a new Gaga for LG5.

Sure, I miss Kermit the Frog Gaga, meat dress Gaga, Yuyi the mermaid Gaga, Joe Calderone and even seashell bikini Venus Gaga.

But I want what she's always given us. Change.

Time to stop pretending it's still the past.

Gaga is still the same. She just matured.

Basically...I wouldn't say dead not at all...just growing...showing us more sides...and I'm fine with that...I wouldn't want the SAME routine every album..that's just me..

I find myself watching old concerts and interviews all the time though lol...so I get what you mean..I've never even seen her live sadly..

I'm just excited to see what's next

I think it'll always be the same Gaga... the essence of Lady Gaga in the first place was that she changed her look constantly from one thing to another. I think it'd be agains the spirit of who Lady Gaga embodies if she were to stay within one level throughout her entire career (CrazyGa). Yeah, it's crazy, but if that's ALL she wore, would it really be that crazy? It lost its shock value and I think she understood that, especially as other pop acts began to mimic it – it's an attention-grabber and free press, but once it's overutilized, I think it works to an artist's disadvantage rather than supporting them.

I'd prefer her to return to the old Gaga sonically rather than her dress; I'm not a huge fan of ARTPOP's vocal style even though it's my favorite album of hers.

Regardless of what musical direction she's taking for her next album, do you think Gaga would ever come back, visually? The crazy outfits, the visuals, the choreo, the attitude... I really do miss it all...

With every era she re-invents herself. Will we get seashells, meat, Jo? No, we will get something new. The visuals? Yes, as long as she's a visual artist. The choreo? I'm not sure, but I can't imagine a Gaga show without dancing. I think she'll dance on LG5 tour. Even she said that she wants to explode and get more sexual in her 30s, that means ''I aint gonna stand on stage and sing, imma blow up the f*cking stage". The attitude? It all depends where she's interviewed. She had an interview on Jimmy Fallon several months ago and she was funny and sassy there, but when she was with Curtis she was muck more serious.
