I have a 26 yo friend that is obsessed with Pokemon and he can name like 200 of the creatures and their forms so I try to keep an open mind on other people's hobbies...

 

edit: He did it once it took him like an hour and I still wonder if he made them up...

Even in Canada there's no limit on manually-operated firearms or rimfire rifles. 5 rounds is less than a revolver.

Not reloading all the time... and that's the wrong question to be asking.

If you were a pioneer or cowboy in 1873, or someone casually shooting a .22 at tin cans in the 1960s....

Answer to the second part is what you said, "because it's 2016". I don't know of any country giving police revolvers, apart from ones firing rubber bullets in some parts of China and other rare cases.

That's because they are the POLICE & NOT civilians, civilians shouldn't have those types of weapons!!  Civilians should just have revolvers & that's about it really!
