I'm sure that's true but you don't have to make a lot of money to invest it.

Well, even if he wants to do solo project, he can't. This particular member (Junichi Yamamoto) left the group on his own will.

And his boyband was managed under Johnny's, which is the biggest and most notorious boyband agency in Japan. They actually works with Yakuza and does have control within the media. That is why SMAP withdraw their plan to leave the agency few months ago, they know their career are fxcked if they proceed with it because no TV station nor house produxtion wuthin Japan will want to hire them anymore cos they are afraid with Johnny's.
