Bottle caps are for Hyper Training! Which I have yet to unlock bc I haven't been focusing on leveling anything up to 100 yet. :diane:

And I guess I'll just be in the dark for now and train various Pokemon so I'm ready for y'all :madge:

Don't we only really need to level things to 50 really? :confused: Aren't Pokemon levelled down to 50 in most wifi battles anyway?

I haven't started EV training on this game yet but it did seem really easy on X+Y with the hordes. The chain one seems pretty fast with the whole doubling up when it's 2 Pokemon on the screen but what if they SOS call and a Pokemon that isn't the same stat-giving EV pops up? :flop:

Yeah getting them to level 100 is only good for unlocking the Hyper Training, which cosmetically boosts IVs from what I hear (effective in battle, but unable to pass down through breeding). Link battles, we'd need to get our teams up to like level 50 at least I'd believe.

The SOS thing is so messy. Taking away the Horde battles has been absolutely detrimental for my training, making it hard to calculate exactly what needs which stats boosted. That, paired with my unfamiliarity with the new generation, has been a headache when coming to composing a worthwhile team. :poot:

Off topic (yet on topic for this thread), would you guys be interested in doing a Generation Rate? I had done a Pokemon Rate thread quite a while back so it'd be interesting to expand into full generations. :excited2:

If interested, I can host a Gen 1 or Gen 7 Rate. :excited2:

A Generation rate? Like of each Pkmn?

Basically yes. All (new) pokemon within a Generation are put up to Rate from 1-10 with 2 special scores where you can give your favorite Pokemon an 11 and your absolute least favorite a 0.

Scores are tallied and posted in descending order until a winner (#1) is crowned!

Really excited for this fun time. Just a couple of questions though, I addressed it in the other forum, but what is a Vs. Recorder? It says something about providing codes and I'm like. :huh: I remember it being a mechanic in older games, but I didn't know it was/is still a thing?

I think Lele is the best Tapus. Decent bulk, Calm Mind + Psychic Terrian (50% + in Psychic moves) and pretty good speed :legend: 

My second fave is Bulu. Grass Terrian  (50% + in grass moves) +  Leftover + Bulk Up + Leech Horn :legend2:
