 It came down to trying something new! I'm already planning on filling my Water and Grass roles so Litten just seemed right. 

I'm also a cat person and when the game finally asked which pokemon to choose, I had my little cat (named Rhyme  ) sleeping next to me in my bed so the universe sorta-kinda lead me to pick Litten. 

The music it great so far. Very thematic and cultural!

My first battle with the Totem Alolan Raticate was great. My Grubbin hit it with a Silver Powder boosted Bug Bite and it crit.

What the ****. Just caught Slowpoke and it's pokedex entry was something about Alolan home cooking involves Slowpoke tail. I guess Team Rocket's practices are accepted now  so much for loving Pokémon.

I traded a Rockruff for a Litten then a Litten for a Ditto.. my Ditto f-ucked my Litten and I traded the 2 babies for the other starters
